Greetings from Awamaki's Volunteers

One of the cool things Awablog wants to share are experiences from our very own volunteers! Often, they have their own blog they’ve been keeping up with to share with their friends and family back home. First up is Chelsea Gustafson, our very own happy go lucky dreadlocked Awamaki Health volunteer. She and her boyfriend Alex, who was visiting us for the month of February, recently returned from a weekend long hike to the Lares hot springs. Check out the post here!

About Awamaki

Awamaki is a nonprofit fair trade social enterprise dedicated to connecting Andean artisan weavers with global markets. We collaborate with women artisans to support their efforts towards educational and financial independence by co-creating beautifully handcrafted knit and woven accessories using hertiage techniques.
