Awamaki's Spanish Language Center is About to Take Off!

By Mikka Tokuda-Hall
Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who contributed on our recent Global Giving Bonus Day, the Spanish Teacher’s Cooperative has been fully funded and is progressing on schedule! Last night, thirty interested women came to Awamaki’s office to learn more from John Adriaessens of Fairplay, a Cusco-based NGO which runs a similar program. We hope to be up and running in time to offer Spanish classes to tourists and volunteers by the next high season.
